1) What is Royalty Free footage?
Royalty Free (RF) footage can be used:
There is no need to purchase an additional licence or pay further fees; the single price reflects the entire clip usage scope.
Note that any project refers to all projects with the exception of prohibited uses, including defamatory, libellous, pornographic or otherwise unlawful use of the footage.
On our website, all RF clips have the same pricing structure. The 3 prices apply to low-res clips, medium-res clips and high-res clips.

This covers notes as above but also includes prohibited use within advertising or promotional projects; which includes commercials, films, entertainment or factual programming (including online), corporate and gaming.
2) What is Rights Ready footage?
Rights Ready (RR) footage can be used in a single project for a determined fee. On our website, RR pricing is defined using our drop down menu in the clip page.
The menu is split into Use, Media, Territory and Term, i.e:

Use - Advertising, Feature, Entertainment, Factual, Editorial, Gaming, Corporate
Media - All Media, Broadcast, Non-broadcast, Internet/digital, Public service, Feature trailer, Feature film, Documentary trailer, Documentary film, TV/digital programming, Factual productions, News/Video News Releases, Computer games, Corporate events/shows, Internal
Territory - National or Worldwide
Term - Up to 2 years or In perpetuity

3) What is Rights Managed footage?
Rights clearance will most likely be needed for Rights Managed footage, hence we ask you to contact us to gather more information about your project and usage. Here, the price is calculated on the basis of use, media, territory and term, on a case-by-case basis.
We base these clip costs on camera format, rarity of the footage, on difficulty to obtain the material and on clearance aspects (further charges could be applied for gaining clearance).
Our clearance filters are divided into Commercial use and Editorial use. In most cases, we will have signed release forms for property usage (buildings, homes, company branded buildings, government premises etc) and people usage (individuals, actors, models etc) - these clips can be used for Commercial purposes. However some clips may not need the permission of the rights holders - these are normally used for Editorial projects. See some examples below, for clarity on Commercial vs Editorial use:
